Supporting the Harry Perkins Institute for Cancer Research

Our congratulation to Rentco for their highly successful Mack Muster NTS Auction Dolly that sold for $75,000 on the night with all funds going to cancer research.

This dolly was built with support from the transport equipment industry and Multispares was proud to participate.

Ryan 2nd in Sydney + Townsville Preview

Ryan Hansford has repeated his effort in round 1 by finishing second in round 2 at Sydney Motorsport Park behind veteran John Bowe. This leaves Hansford and his Multispares Torana only 10 points behind Bowe in the series points heading to Townsville on July 8, 9 & 10 for round 3 of the 2022 Gulf Western Oil TCM series.

Vinnies CEO Sleepout

CEO Geoff Stewart represented Multispares in this year’s Vinnies CEO Sleepout at the White Bay Cruise Terminal, Sydney, raising a total of $21,447 from within Multispares and good people closely associated with the Multispares Group. This money will be used to help many homeless families and individuals in desperate need of support, encouragement and the scaffolding needed to regain control of their circumstances. Across the nation, Vinnies raised around $9m from the event, a fantastic outcome.

In recent years, the demand for supply and support of diagnostic equipment has grown dramatically. Multispares discusses how it has adapted its offering.

Hansford heading back to Sydney

After finishing second overall in round 1 of the 2022 Touring Car Masters series Ryan Hansford and his Multispares Torana will be racing at Sydney Motorsport Park this coming weekend for round 2.
Friday May 27 will have practice and then qualifying will be held under lights at 6.15pm. At round 1 Ryan qualified on pole position so he will be keen to do the same again but as always it will be close with as many as 4 cars all capable of grabbing the top spot.

Multispares Newcastle Relocates Across the Road

For 20 years, Multispares Newcastle has operated from a great position on the corner of Kinta Drive and Enterprise Drive, directly over the road from the BP Truck Stop. We didn’t want to move, and in some ways we haven’t. We’re still on the corner of Kinta Drive and Enterprise Drive but now diagonally across from the BP Truck Stop, and you can’t miss our signs!

Supporting Regional Field Days

Multispares often participates in regional Field Days, which provide an opportunity to mix with regional customers and show support of farming and agribusiness. These Field Days generally have great energy and can be a lot of fun.

Pictured here is the Multispares Marquee at the Rotary NQ Field Days held at Reid Park in South Townsville. With Rotary involved, all profits from the field days are distributed back to Rotary Clubs to assist them with their important community activities and support services.

Hansford second in Sydney

Ryan Hansford has started his 2022 season with 2nd overall for the round at Sydney Motorsport Park for round 1 of the Gulf Western Oil Touring Car Masters series.

With the terrible flooding in Qld and NSW, the first Supercar round at SMP was extremely lucky to go ahead the weekend before last. Despite heavy rain in the lead up to the event Supercars took a punt on the forecast and they got it right. Showers over the 3 days meant the track conditions varied every time the cars went out, but the event got run.

Round 1 2022 Sydney Motorsport Park

The 2022 Touring Car Masters series will kick off its season on March 4,5 & 6 at Sydney Motorsport Park and Ryan Hansford and his Multispares Torana will be there to put on another solid performance, as he did in 2021, where he won two races and the overall round.

Once again there will be a mix of tracks in the 2022 season and the SMP layout suits the Torana, so Ryan and the team are determined to get off to a good start and come away with a bag of points from Round 1.

2021 TCM Round 6 and End-of-Series Review

Whilst covid spoilt some of the party this year, we still managed to squeeze in 6 rounds of the Touring Car Masters series and finished our season at Mt Panorama Bathurst with a massive 6-day event and once again TCM delivered the best racing of the week.

Ryan Hansford and the Multispares Torana had their best season since joining TCM, winning 3 races, the Pro Am championship and 2nd overall to John Bowe in the outright championship.
